How to promote a podcast episode on social media

Post about each episode more than once: a release post with the title, link and artwork, then a few follow-ups that each pull out one moment or idea. In Solo Social, add your show’s RSS feed and every new episode is ready to turn into a post.

How often should I post about one episode?

More than once. Most of your followers won’t see the release post, and the ones who do may not have time to listen that day. A few posts spread over a week or two give each episode more chances to be heard.

About a week laterThe takeawayOne idea from the episode explained in the post itself, so it’s useful even without listening.

How does Solo Social turn my RSS feed into posts?

  1. Add your show’s RSS feed. No other setup, and no need to connect your podcast host.
  2. Your episodes come in with their title, show notes, artwork, and episode and season numbers.
  3. New episodes are marked New. Solo Social checks your feed every few hours.
  4. Choose “Create post” on an episode. The post composer opens with the title, link and artwork already filled in.
  5. Adapt, schedule and approve. Each post fits the platform it’s going to, and nothing is posted until you approve it.

Where do I find my podcast’s RSS feed?

In your podcast host, the service you upload episodes to. It’s usually in your show’s settings or distribution section, and it’s a web address that often ends in .xml, /rss or /feed. It’s the same feed you gave the podcast apps when you first listed your show.

Can I promote more than one show?

Yes. You can add up to 5 shows. Podcast import is included on the Essential plan and up; full pricing comes at launch.

How do I keep posting between episodes?

Between releases, Solo Social’s content buckets keep a steady weekly mix of tips, stories and behind-the-scenes posts, and saved ideas hold the topics you think of mid-recording. It suggests the best times to post and shows analytics, so you can see how your posts are doing.

For artwork and quote graphics, the design studio applies your show’s colours, fonts and logo in one click.
